Sihanoukville

Sihanoukville is a town with nice beaches and Cambodia’s only maritime port. Part of the town can look quite sleepy thus giving one a peaceful easy feeling. Quite a number of backpackers flock to her beaches. Having said that don't expect it to be as nice as some of those in Thailand.

I have so far visited there twice. The first time was during Human Rights Day which is a holiday in Cambodia. My boss told me to bring the children to the beach for some fun. Sure we had fun. For most of the little ones it was the first time they have ever seen the waves. As for me, watching the children play was in itself an enjoyment.
